Title:
Method of combined analysis of echocardiography and computed tomography (CT) scan results.
Protection status:
Patent No. Pat.234521
Subject:
The invention provides a method for the combined analysis of data obtained from computed tomography of the heart and coronary vessels and images obtained from echocardiography of the left ventricle at rest and/or under load. The technique makes it possible to obtain a three-dimensional model of the left ventricle and its vascularization, together with information on the function of its various areas and their relationship to the branches of the coronary arteries.
Benefits:
The unique, non-invasive method enables simultaneous analysis of functional information about regional myocardial function and morphological information about coronary artery lesions. The technology improves the diagnostic value for detecting significant coronary artery stenosis (confirmed by coronary angiography) compared to CT or stress echocardiography analyzed separately.
Stage of work:
Ready to use technology.
Application:
Cardiology – improve the diagnosis of stenosis in the coronary arteries, scientific value – the ability to analyze the image of morphological and functional changes in the coronary arteries.
