What do we offer?

Smart-Up Lab 2024 is the 9th edition of the program organized by the Medical University of Lodz.  It is a continuation of an international project carried out for 4 years in a consortium with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).

The project lasts one month and consists of four panels:

– creating an interdisciplinary team and working on ideas

– presentation of the product in front of potential partners, customers and investors

– market realities and project development

– invest and let yourself be invested

This year’s motto of the pre-incubation program will be

„To spend, you have to earn,
so don’t get attached to your ideas!”

Participants will undergo crash tests at each stage, which will be aimed at preparing them for possible complications, difficulties and challenges by hitting their concepts against the wall.. We will allocate about 1/3 of the project duration to such activities, because we want to be convinced that the teams of graduates who intend to continue developing their ideas will take up this challenge really consciously.

For whom?

The program is aimed primarily at people interested in creating creative solutions and  innovators: students, doctoral students, graduates, scientists and entrepreneurs.

You may already have your own idea for innovation, but it is not necessarily – as part of the workshop, we will learn how to work on creating teams and developing the project from the initial phase, as well as creating solutions in response to needs diagnosed with various methods.

The program is open to participants from all fields including medicine, natural sciences, economics, computer science, technical or artistic disciplines.

How?

The program will be implemented in October, in the form of stationary classes, in Polish. For those interested, we will prepare additional tasks to be carried out between workshops. Throughout the program, Participants will be able to take advantage of the support and consultations of Mentors.

The program is paid.

The fee for participation in the program is PLN 250; for students, listeners and employees of the Medical University of Lodz there is a discount of PLN 50.

Participants will receive personal certificates after completing the program.

The best graduates of the project will be able to count on the support of the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer in the further development of their ideas.
