Innovative nutritional agents in the form of powders that can be used on their own or as additives/components of a specialty food targeting the treatment of symptoms and remission of inflammatory bowel diseases. 

Benefits: 

A new way of using preparations consisting of biologically active compounds of natural origin as a special dietary use with anti-inflammatory effect. 

Stage of work: 

Therapeutic effects of the formulations have been demonstrated in vitro, in studies using cell lines and in an animal model of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Studies indicate strong inhibition of the inflammatory response with no effect on cell survival. 

Application: 

New forms of support for IBD therapy, as well as dietary supplementation for IBD patients. The invention can also be considered in the area of functional foods, can contribute to the development of this sector of food production, and also as specialty foods.
